Feb. 10th, 2006 01:06 pmMan, I'm glad Dorn's bike has a sissy bar, a friend took me out riding yesterday and my little spaghetti arms/pecs/etc are killing me just from hanging on behind. I figured out how to get the helmet on without folding my ears, but wanna ask N. about buying her old one, because my glasses barely fit into this kiddie one that belonged to
georgedorn's ex for two whole rides.
I busticated a bedroom screen that had been wrenched out of its track by the wind (trying to goose it back in - shoulda found the wd40 first). Oh well, there aren't many bugs out there yet. It's beautiful out again; I hope it lasts all weekend. The maintenance guy came back WITH THE OWNER a few days ago (he at least knew to phone before coming up) and then came back the next day, having been told in front of me to repair the roof with a little sealing compound and....spraypainted the soggy plaster ceiling. There's been a slow drip onto a tarp, but I'm hoping he'll actually get his ass up there while the weather's dry and do what the owner said. I got the owner's phone number. Still not feeling particularly attached to the dump.
